Every winter it feels like I have less and less time to get basic house-hold chores done. If my wife and I aren’t dropping our kids off at school, we’re watching their sports games, cooking meals or repairing the house. I garden for a living, but even I find it hard to get time in our back yard as the weather gets colder.
In the autumn I bought and planted a young Guava tree, about a foot high, which is supposed to withstand frosts down to 5 degrees celcius. I’m not sure how bad the frosts get here in Oamaru as I’ve just moved here. The leaves are going brown and falling. Some leaves are brown down one side but green on the other. What would be the likely cause of this?
