General
Awapuni Nurseries has the discretion to decline any order placed or cancel any order for any reason. Whilst every effort is made to ensure prices are always correct on our website, mistakes can occur from time to time. If this is the case, Awapuni Nurseries will notify you of the error and you will then have the choice to either accept the correct price or to cancel your order. Transactions will appear on your credit card statement as Awapuni Nurseries for any transactions through this website.
All prices displayed on our website are in NZ Dollars and include GST.
Awapuni Nurseries use DPS for all online credit card payments. We do not collect or store any credit card information. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. DPS is New Zealand's largest and most preferred gateway provider.
If for any reason a glitch or fault in the website allows you to purchase products from the website without paying or with un-earned loyalty points you will be liable for the actual amount owed.
Delivery/Shipping
We will endeavour to dispatch all orders received in the timeframes outlined on our Shipping & Delivery page. If the requested product is out of stock, and you have ticked the ‘Substitute product’ checkbox in the checkout, we will substitute the unavailable product with a similar product. If you have left the ‘Substitute product’ checkbox blank, we will send you an email asking if you would like something else in its place or we would offer a refund.
We use Fastway Couriers or Peter Baker Transport or our Awapuni Nurseries Wellington truck or NZ POST (rural delivery) for delivery of goods. Please visit the Shipping & Delivery page for full costs of delivery including to rural addresses. We only deliver to addresses within New Zealand including; Waiheke Island, Chatham Islands and Stewart Island.
If you are ordering plants to a rural delivery address you must select the rural delivery option. If you have not selected the rural delivery option and the delivery address is rural, a hold will be put on your account until the rural delivery fee of $7 has been paid.
Replacement Orders
If you receive a damaged product or are unsatisfied with the product or the length of delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. We will resend the order as soon as possible.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. We will never disclose, share or sell your email address, or other contact information to any other company. We only collect this information to process your order and make it easier for you when you re-order. All information about you will remain strictly confidential. Should you ever want your details removed from our database, simply let us know and we will process your request immediately.
Wholesale Customers

Wholesale customers are landscapers, nurseries, garden centres or commercial businesses wishing to purchase Awapuni Nurseries products in large quantities. With our wholesaler discount, you'll be entitled to a 30% discount on a minimum spend of $150 (based on subtotal, plus a $10 flat shipping fee).
The discount only applies to landscape plants, natives, vegetables, flowers and herbs. It does NOT apply to garden products or plants already on special or on gift vouchers, bulk/mega bundles ( 10, 25/bulk, 50 or 100 seedlings) or our native combos. The discount applies to the subtotal order i.e. NOT including freight. Awapuni Nurseries may decline an application for a wholesale discount for any reason and is not required to disclose this reason.
Wholesale customers will not earn loyalty points on any purchases made at wholesale rates.
Awapuni Nurseries reserves the right to revoke any wholesale customer's access to wholesale rates at any point in time for any reason. Awapuni Nurseries also reserves the right to change the amount of discount available to wholesale customers for any reason. And Awapuni Nurseries reserves the right to increase the cost of delivery per order.
Wholesale customers must spend a minimum of $150 per order to receive the discount, minimum 5 orders year. Wholesaler accounts are subject to review annually. The code may not be given to anyone else to use. Misuse of the wholesale discount code will result in the code being cancelled. A flat shipping rate will be applied with your code - the rate depends on where you are located.

From time to time, Awapuni Nurseries offer special prices on our products. Complete details and special pricing are indicated on our website - specials page, product information page and/or homepage. Conditions, exclusions apply.
First order vouchers
First time customers who subscribe to our newsletter or register to our website will receive an email that contains a voucher code for their first order. A user account is eligible to use only one first order voucher code. This voucher is applicable to retail price of products on our online store and can not be used for items already on sale, on specials, PB 3/4 plants, combo deals, mega bundles/deals or on promotional discount.
Promotions, Competitions & Giveaways
Occasionally, Awapuni Nurseries launch promotions, competitions, offers & giveaways via our website, newsletters, Facebook page, Instagram page and/or online channels. These promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Awapuni Nurseries reserves the right to determine the winning entry.
Winners will be informed via the respective digital channel (social/email) and notifications will start from the date mentioned on the promotion details. Prize collection within 90 days otherwise it expires.
T&C: NZ residents only. If products would be the prizes, an NZ shipping address is required. Additional competition details will be specified on the digital channel where it was posted.
Free shipping applies to plant bundles, physical products and established plants.
